Movie review-Escape From New York,1981 Starrng Kurt Russell This dark action film about Manhatten Island being used as federal security prison in the "future" of 1997 in which Snake Pliskin (Russell) has to rescue the President from convicts is very similar to its sequel Escape From LA. This film is not avalible for purchase anymore so you have to catch it on Cinemax etc. If you like Russell or enjoy movies similar to this you will love Escape From New York. | George Herman Ruth...The best ever? | ||||||||||||||||
